Some fittings in the bathrooms were already showing signs of wear and tear, hinting at a need for better maintenance. Difficulties included flooding in the showers, which persisted even after room changes, and confusing pathways to and from the beach, requiring a public sidewalk detour. The beach area was misleadingly advertised as private—the public could access it, often for the same fees. Guests had to awkwardly traverse through the main restaurant, disrupting the fine dining atmosphere. the hotel hosted a private party that closed access to the beach , contradicting their stated policies.
